The following is a copy of a notification sent to outline the method used to access your E-mail from within the classroom. At the momment it appears that you cannot get to your E-mail from home, though it is expected that, in time, it will be possible.
"A new email solution has been deployed to meet curriculum delivery in the classroom. As dictated by DET email standards, Outlook in the classroom will now require an additional logon in order to connect. The credentials to connect are identical i.e. the classroom computer name as the user name and “student” as the password. The Username now will have to be prefixed with the domain name of “edumail”. A logon now ill look like:- Username: “edumail\classmachine12” Password: “student” Certainly – if there are any difficulties or problems – please do not hesitate to log a call with the ICT Services Help Desk… · Call on 02 4221 6478 or · Send an email to @illahelp"
